When can I start my studies?
You can start studying with Infront Training at any time throughout the year.
What is the difference between an Accredited Course and Professional Development?
An accredited course can only be offered by a Registered Training Organisation who has completed rigorous registration, ongoing auditing and compliance. Infront Training has their registration to 2020. You will receive either a Statement of Attainment for successful completion of a Unit of Competency which includes an assessment or a Certificate that outlines your Qualification if you complete all units that make up the course.
Professional Development however is open to any person who wishes to improve their skills, knowledge or behaviour. There is no assessment.
How are the qualifications delivered?
Using our holistic approach and teaching methodologies, Infront Training has a number of delivery options dependent on the learner and their situation. We offer workshops in local areas; workplace or face2face visits; individual distance education programs where you work at your own pace or a combination.
Can I be recognised for my experience or previous studies?
Yes. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a key component to studies. Your enrolment application form has this opportunity but you can also enquire from your trainer/assessor whilst studying. You may seek RPL for either the entire qualification or unit/s (subjects). You will need to provide evidence and be willing to discuss your experience with an assessor.
What if I have completed Unit/s (subjects) but not a whole course in the past?
We call this Credit Transfer and if the unit/subject is equivalent to a current unit/subject this can be transferred to your current qualification. This assists you to fast track your studies and use previous studies. You will need to provide JP certified copies of the original certifications or statements of attainment or the original document.
Do I need to enrol in a full qualification/course?
No you may like to select one or a group of units/subjects (sometimes called skill sets).
Are there any pre-requisites to enrolling?
You will be required to complete a Language, Literacy and Numeracy assessment; a pre-checklist for self-evaluation if you are concerned about your ability to study at a particular level; or provide an uptodate resume/CV. A teacher/assessor will be available to discuss your aptitude before commencing.
Does my employer need to be involved?
Your employer only needs to be involved if they are funding your studies.
Can I complete my studies quickly?
Yes, there is no time limit in completing your qualification.
How much will the course cost?
We may not be the cheapest as we prefer to offer quality. Refer to our Course Information Leaflet or for Professional Development the fee is listed with the course.
Do you offer VET FEE HELP?
No as many providers who do offer this actually charge higher fees. We can offer you an instalment plan to pay your fees.
Are there any other expenses besides the course fee?
All reading resources and example templates are provided. We also list any books we identify as excellent but you are not required to purchase them. You will need access to a computer and have a personal email address.
How do I access my course?
We have an online student portal where you have your personal log in. You also upload your assignments to this area.
What if I am having difficulties understanding?
We have very experienced staff but if they cannot assist you they may need to refer you to further support.
